Honestly that one was so out there, I could not leave it.

I said I try but I do apologise.

Except when you're trying to correct the spelling of in-humorous in my posts then?

Wow. big word.

My last two post? Better than every post I have made since adopting a username (alter any quotes lately.)

I type poorly and make tons of mistakes on here, I know that, I try to to take issue with the semantics (ie the meaning) of people's posts not the syntax.

Iro, you are a supercilious little shit.
Your last couple of posts reflect very poorly on yourself.

P.s Get your mates to spell planning for you.

I love when people downplay semantics. Without semantic there is literally no point of language.

He isn't wrong pal. You are overly focused on semantics.

Good for Oxford, bad for WHO.

"I have identified you as a billy no mates"

I think this demonstrative of your posting style so lets take a look at this.

This came from the fact that you said something to the effect that "We want rid of Andy Carroll" and I said "'we' don't" and one can only speak for oneself; you said you were speaking for your mates and I said "let them speak for themselves."

(What ever other rubbish you have spouted, you haven't been doing this first person plural thing any more, so you must have seen yourself well-schooled and amended at least those few of your ways. You are welcome.)

At which point you decided that because I wasn't speaking for my mates, I had none. If we want to talk childish, you then have repeated this elementary school insult a number of other times. But you don't know how many mates I have any more than you know what Allardyce is thinking or planing (there were no "mays" or "I think"s we yo.)

But to demonstrate something about mates. I will tell you who I discuss football with outside this forum. First, the list is small because I don't live in West Ham's catchment and my mates are mostly international and academics, who don't follow football. But the friend I discuss football with the most is QPR (and a lecturer in sociology, not sure what to make of that,) another's dad played for Burnley (guess who he supports,) one is the first genuine Manchester United supporter I met in my life, complete with a Neville-esque accent, one is from the south coast and supports Plymouth, another is Southampton and glories in Portmouth's recent financial trouble. A lot don't follow football and which is the same as my old friends, except some high school ones that were of Italian decent and introduced me to Serie A.

So you don't know what you are talking about despite using childish names to try and pretend you do. A style which permeates the rest of your posts.

You don't need to shout over people. Let's just discuss football and West Ham as individuals because that is what I came on here ten years ago to do because my friends were not interested in doing so.

The last four minutes was easily the most exciting of the game.... shame we couldn't have had 24 minutes of it!

Yup... that's Carroll's input into the beautiful game....

The last 5 minutes was quite funny. Should of had about 5 pens and a few goals. It was absolute chaos.

IOC

Please stop talking bollocks. Remember that everyone can see both our posts. They can see that I am invariably stating "in my view" or "may" or "could" or "likely" etc. That does not make it fact - it makes it an opinion on a forum.

You have no idea what I "know" or "don't know"... and anyway, nobody with a grain of sense is going to reveal a source if they ARE getting facts from the club, so we will never tell what % of supposition ANY comment is until viewed in retrospect...

I have identified you as a billy no mates, and as somebody who simply cannot handle any opposing point of view from any other poster (be it fact or opinion).

All you are doing with your silly childish posturing is confirming that.

Can't believe you have lumped Mark Hately in with that lot.

He was a fucking superb player, probably better than David Cross. Always preferred Goddard from that era

That's great but so many of your posts are based on premises where things are"in your view" but portrayed as facts, it hard to take the conclusions seriously.

In the last few posts, you have told us what the manager is thinking and what will happen in dressing room, as if you know something you don't.

You are have an opinion, discuss it as such, until I called you on it again, you weren't doing that.

stomper 9:17 Sun Nov 9

Actually, I was not thinking we would ever start with all three. One of Valencia or Sakho alongside Carroll would be interesting though. Because defences would have enough on their plates dealing with the aerial threat and that could create space for Sakho or Valencia or even the forgotten man Zarate. I think, as other threads are discussing, that the Nolan situation is the one that is casting a dark cloud over everything now.

Re: Four minutes he was on the pitch and he caused havoc....
I don't think AC must have a hoofball approach either. On his day and fully fit he is a much better player than that. Not saying that I would drop either Valencia or Sakho for him though.

Three quality strikers and three quality centre-backs to choose from this season. Can't be bad.

Hammer and Pickle 9:39 Sun Nov 9
Re: Four minutes he was on the pitch and he caused havoc....
stomper 9:17 Sun Nov 9

Good question.

I'd obviously set up an unchanged back four - that picks itself at the moment.

The great thing about both Valencia and Sakho is they will track back to support Cresswell and Jenkinson so I would risk a midfield triangle of Song and Noble with Downing at the business end point.

Wouldn't necessarily try it at Goodison Park, mind you.
